Britney Sings to Shania
[02.02.02]  Britney Spears shows a little appreciation to Shania's style of music in her new movie.  "Crossroads," Spears' debut movie, is a story of a young lady on her way to become a singer.  As Briteny sings to many well known songs today, one special song stands out from the rest.  In the movie, there is a scene in which Britney is driving with her friends on a road trip as they sing to Shania Twain's 1999 hit single, "Man! I Feel Like A Woman!".

New Show To Air
[01.12.02]  VH1 will air their new show featuring yet more information on stars of today.  Driven, the series' name, is said to talk about the path to stardom and gives viewers a chance to see what the stars were really like before they were...stars!  The new show will begin featuring Shania Twain.  You can catch this episode twice! January 15th at 8:00 PM and January 16th at 1:00 AM (CST) on VH1.

Eighth Anniversary
[12.28.01]  Today marks the eight year anniversary of the marriage between Shania Twain and Robert John Lange.  Surely this will be an exciting anniversary since they will be celebrating the new addition to their family.  We wish Shania and her family many more years of happiness!

Quick Shots of Eja!

Not One in 2001
[09.03.01]  This year in the CMT's Labor Day Top 100 Requests program, none of Shania's videos made it on the countdown.  This fan-voted program was booming with ten of Twain's videos in 2000.  I guess her fans haven't been too pleased with her time off.

According to associated reporters, after giving birth to her new son Eja, Shania is going back to work; physically and vocally.  Twain is continuing to work on her Come On Over successor album.  Sources claim that Shania plans to release her album in early 2002.  Will she let us down again this time? Stay tuned.

Merger Update
[08.31.01]  Progress on the new shania.net web site has been a little slow recently.  Ideas are coming and going as Matthew Hartsock, webmaster, tries to come up with a design suitable for the new site.  The new design will feature a unique integration of content from both shaniafanclub.com and shania.net.  Philip Beddoe, webmaster of shaniafanclub.com, is currently trying to sell his popular domain.  If you would like more information on that, you can e-mail him.

In the mean time, we have welcomed a new associate!  Shania Twain Express is our latest affiliate who has joined us earlier this month.  The webmasters of shania.net, sTwain.com, and Shania Twain Express are currently working together on a project that is being referred to as OSG.  More information about OSG will be released at a later date.  Check back here at sTwain.com for the latest information on the shania.net and shaniafanclub.com merger, as well as OSG.

Eja Lange
[08.21.01]  It has been confirmed.  Shania indeed give birth to her child.  On August 12th, she gave birth to a healthy baby boy whom she named Eja (that's pronounced like the continent Asia).  The new mother and her her baby son are said to be doing fine.  Congratulations to Shania and Mutt!

Baby Boy?
[08.20.01]  It has been reported that Shania gave birth to her child a week ago.  Reportedly, Shania gave birth to a baby boy whom she named Eja Saturday, August 11th.  There have been no official confirmations yet on the birth.

Birthday Bash 2001
[08.19.01]  August 28th is Shania's birthday, and The Shania Twain Centre will be celebrating it this year! The festivities will include free birthday cake for all who attends and the privilege of signing an oversized birthday card.  The event will be video taped and a copy will be sent to Shania in Switzerland.  Everyone who will attend is asked to bring non-perishable food items for donation to the South Porcupine Food Bank.  This will surely be an event you won't want to miss!  More Information...
